The King’s Story
Melvin Yusuf Oluwabamiji
Mr. ECN 2026
Melvin’s story begins in Banjul, The Gambia, where he was born on 27 October 2005. His early years at Methodist Primary School laid the foundation for his growth and development. In 2016, he moved to Nigeria to further his education and later completed his secondary education at Saint Anthony School. Growing up between The Gambia and Nigeria exposed him to different cultures and experiences that helped shape his outlook on life.
A Chance Conversation That Changed His Path
Melvin’s journey into modelling began with a random phone call from his elder brother. During their conversation, his brother asked him a simple question: “Melvin, do you want to become a model?” Without hesitation, Melvin expressed his interest and said yes. That conversation marked the beginning of a journey he would gradually grow to love, leading him into the world of modelling and eventually to Elysian Crown Nigeria.
A Passion for Fashion
Over time, Melvin developed a strong passion for fashion. For him, fashion is more than just putting outfits together; it is a way to express his personality, creativity, and individuality. He enjoys exploring different styles and creating looks that stand out, reflecting his belief that personal style is an important part of self-expression.
A Milestone in 2026
His journey in pageantry reached an important milestone in 2026 when he earned the title of Mr. ECN 2026. The experience has become a meaningful part of his personal and professional growth, giving him opportunities to learn, build connections, and discover more about himself. He has also received recognition at the Four Wall Awards, adding another milestone to his journey.
Beyond the Runway
Beyond modelling and fashion, Melvin enjoys playing golf, football, and lawn tennis. These hobbies allow him to explore other interests and maintain a balance between his professional pursuits and personal life.
As he continues to develop his career, Melvin hopes to establish himself further in the modelling and fashion industries. He remains open to new experiences, committed to personal growth, and determined to make the most of the opportunities ahead of him. His story is still unfolding, with more goals to pursue, more experiences to gain, and more of himself to discover.

The Queen’s Story
Queen Agbaje Adebimpe
Reigning Queen, Elysian Crown Nigeria 2026
Agbaje Adebimpe is a 400-level student of Lagos State University (LASU), a model, content creator, entrepreneur and the reigning Queen of Elysian Crown Nigeria 2026. She is a young woman who believes in growth, consistency, hard work and the importance of making something meaningful out of every opportunity life presents. Her journey has taught her that becoming the woman she desires to be takes patience, courage, discipline and the willingness to keep going even when things do not happen as planned.
A Love for Fashion and Creativity
Her love for fashion and creativity was one of the major things that motivated her to go into pageantry. She enjoys exploring new ideas, trying different looks and expressing herself in creative ways. For her, fashion is more than wearing beautiful clothes; it is a form of expression. Her interest gradually opened her mind to modelling and pageantry, giving her opportunities to challenge herself, meet new people and build confidence.
Her Pageantry Journey
During her first year in the Miss LASU pageant, she contested but did not emerge with a major title. However, she received recognition as Model of the Year 2024. In 2025, she contested for Miss LASU again and emerged as Miss LASU Tourism, First Runner-Up. She also won the Introduction Task, which earned her a special sash.
These experiences helped her understand the importance of preparation, stage presence, communication and carrying herself with confidence. In 2026, becoming the Queen of Elysian Crown Nigeria marked another significant milestone in her personal growth and her commitment to purposeful representation.
Education, Enterprise and Creativity
Alongside her studies at Lagos State University, Adebimpe has explored creative and business interests including hairstyling, fashion, thrift sales, content creation and social media management. Through her hair business, Abimp Royale, she has developed an interest in beauty services and in helping people look and feel good. She hopes to continue growing professionally, building her business interests and achieving financial independence.
Advocacy with Purpose
Adebimpe is passionate about menstrual dignity and menstrual education. She believes menstruation should not be a source of shame or embarrassment and that young girls deserve accurate information, access to education and the confidence to understand their bodies without feeling judged. She hopes to use her platform to encourage awareness and support initiatives that make a positive difference.
The Woman Behind the Crown
Beyond her titles and public appearances, Adebimpe is a young woman with dreams, ambitions and a strong desire to keep growing. She wants to be recognised not only for her appearance or achievements, but also for her character, creativity, work ethic and the value she brings to others.
Looking to the future, she hopes to establish a stronger presence in modelling and fashion, expand her business interests, develop her skills in content creation and digital media, and contribute to meaningful initiatives for young girls. For her, the crown is not the final destination; it is an opportunity to grow, represent, serve and create something meaningful.
